The staff were excellent, affable.

Lots of food for breakfast, it was appetising. Very helpful and caring staff, gave a lot of information. The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Furthermore, to find the place from the main roundabout.

The total experience was delightful, I recommend. Fairly clean, small hotel, I enjoyed clean rooms and really kind staff. It had a super location next to the very center of old Datong, which is very convenient, and all the best sightseeing spots in the city.

Everything was perfect, I would recommend. I appreciated staying in this stunningly beautiful and enchanting hotel based in an European building. The position of the venue was marvellous and stunning, in the pedestrian zone. In the restaurant they served Western cuisine dishes.

The whole experience was nice from start to finish. Everything was modern. Excellent service. Favorable location right by easy access to local buses to get to the Yungang Grottoes and the center of the old town.

We really liked the rooms with a kang bed.

This venue's location was fantastic, being close to the Datong Museum, and we loved the traditional kang beds in our rooms.

The location of this place is great, and they have onsite parking, which is incredible.

The hotel is perfectly clean. It is a fair value hotel. The location is exceptionally nice, just a short walk to an ancient town/plaza and the center of the old town. It is within walking distance to the tourist sites. There is an open drug store at 4 am. Pipa Hotel Datong in Datong is a clean, reasonably priced hotel with a great location that is convenient for exploring the town and visiting tourist attractions. The presence of a nearby drug store open at 4 am is an added convenience for guests.

The hotel is located in a unique area, right next to an ancient town and the main roundabout. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and we particularly enjoyed the kang bed. The breakfast is served at 7:30 am.

Convenient location in the city center, making it easy to get around. Also, a good variety of Western food options available. 🍔

I gotta say, the value for money at Pipa Hotel was fantastic. The room was clean, comfy, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the ancient city, surrounded by local restaurants and bars. The staff were so friendly and were really nice too help me explore the city.

Menu for breakfast could have had a bit more variety.
